2010 Salsa "Vaya"

This is the latest release from the Salsa Bicycle Company; 2010 Vaya!! This bike is a smooth riding steel road bike designed for long road tours, commuting or general riding. The bike comes complete with a shimano drive train, very well placed Avid disc brakes, and wheels that are disc specific. Bike of the Week

We run things pretty loose here at Colonel's so it's no surprise the "Bike of the Week" is making it to the blog a day late, but here it is. It's a medium Giant Boulder SE that we have added an Xtracycle FreeRadical kit to. The bike itself sells for $410, the Xtracycle sells for $499, and our labor charge to install the kit is $100. We normally sell it as a package deal for $949, but this week get it all for $799.

2010 Great Southwest Bike Swap Recap

Well, the 3rd annual Great Southwest Bike Swap went down as smooth as silk. Vendor attendance was all over the map. We had everyone from frame builders to bike shops to Chiropractors. The event was well attended with many attendees scoring raffle prizes presented by our own Randy Sullivan.
