Want to see how a nice set of Mavic Ksyrium SLR or Cosmic Carbon with Exalith coating can improve the ride of your current bike? Come on by and demo these for your next weekend event. The price is $150.00 and you can apply that to a new set if you decide to purchase a pair. The Exalith coating which is commonly used in formula 1 parts manufacturing improves strength and braking while maintaining light weight.

Only a couple of weeks until the 2012 Red River Riot on April 7th. Myself along with The Rambler Brad Reno (pictured above), James Sanchez, Kieth Gray, and Colonel's Salsa aficionado Tracy Sorenson will be in attendance. Check out more info over at The Spinistry and get your gravel grind on!
Colonel's Bicycles is proud to be dealing Quintana Roo bicycles. Quintana Roo is an industry leader in the tri specific bike category. All Quintana Roo bicycles are designed with tri specific geometry and wind tunnel tested for superior aerodynamics. We are expecting our first shipment within the next week which will consist of CDO.1 with Sram Red and some with Shimano Ultegra components. We will also be stocking some of the entry level Kilo model. We have this 2011 Kilo in stock in size medium/large. This bike is a great value at $1500.00 and is equipped with a mix of Shimano Ultegra and 105 with an FSA crankset. Stop by and check them out.

We see plenty of nice bicycles pass through the service center that deserve blog acknowledgement and I plan to post more images and descriptions of those in 2012. I'm getting a late start but here is a bike worth recognizing. This Seven Elium SLX belongs to Phil Bright long time member of the manly bulge bicycle club (MBBC). The bike was stripped down and sent back to the Seven factory for complete refurb which includes brushing the titanium, cleaning the carbon, checking alignment, installing new decals and headtube badge and applying a custom decal whit Phil's nickname (Spillbert) on the top tube. In addition, Phil purchased a new titanium Seven seatpost and stem. Top it off with rebuilt shifters, overhauled hubs, new cables and housing, Lizard Skins DSP 2.5 bar tape, new chain and Continental GP 4000S tires. Looks like Phil is ready for the season. Thanks Phil!
