Welcome to 2010

Scott Murphy decided it was time for a facelift on his '08 Orca, so he ditched the DA 7800 and Ksyrium SL's in favor of the new DA 7900 group and even newer American Classic 420 Aero 3's. It all came together at 16 1/2 lbs with computer, cages, and pedals on a 60cm bike. Nice work Murph!

NATIONAL MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONS AND HONORARY COLONEL'S ARMY MEMBERS FEATURED IN MARCH!

Last week was moto week at Colonel's. Two time National Arenacross Champion Josh Demuth (top) dropped by with Danielle (yea she is!) and got a couple of beach cruisers and the champ picked up an Orbea road bike to train on during the week as he chases his 3rd National Arenacross title.

Last Saturday night the AMA Supercross came to Cowboys Stadium in Arlington where championship contender Ryan Villapoto (bottom) was spotted over at the Pro Circuit Monster Energy truck wearing Mitch Payton's (team owner) Colonel's hoodie! It seems that Aubrey at Colonel's did some work on RV's mountain bike when the series came to town a few seasons ago and Payton has been seen in the hoodie ever since. Aubrey brought Payton a new one to Arlington...Know your moto bro!

Crested Butte to Aspen Klunker Classic, Part 1 of 2

I stole this link from beautiful Ben Thornton on Facebook. Really cool old footage of the Crested Butte Pearl Pass tours from days gone by. There are two parts well worth watching.

Sully Gets Smoked at Goldsprint

The Goldsprints came to town and Sully got smoked. Well not exactly: the bet between Sully and Afton was that she could beat him while smoking a cigarette. She left the fire stick in the ashtray so...... let's call it a draw.
